Hey Now

RPG has always been a huge inspiration for me to draw and, I don't know why, I always liked to build and play female characters. I think it's a nice challenge, and part of the fun of pretending to be someone else.
I drew this piece for last year's Inktober challenge as just a fun pic: three of my characters spending time together (besides the fact that this never happend on our chronicles), and put some effort on trying to show their personalities through clothing and pose. I liked the result a lot, so I re-drew this on digitals and put colours in it.

For you intrested in characters information, the three of them were created for the Chronicles of Darkness universe (so, theoretically, they could meet in some werid cross-over, eh).

Bianca (human, monster hunter) - She's the character that most changed along the years. She's an NPC for a big monster hunter chronicle (Core CoD, not the fancy Hunter thing), and started as a shy girl trying to become a monster hunter after witnessing a tragedy. After some years living under a more experienced hunter, she became tougher. She still struggles with her sexuality, for she lived most of her life in a very religiously narrow-minded group of people, but started to conquer her independency after spending some years living with her best friend Cail, a very oversexed porn actress who's part of the hunter group (played by my girlf). In some of her hunting adventures she acquired the permanent scar on her face after an accident involving acid and a werewolf. And she drinks beer with straws.

Lucy (Gangrel vampire, metalhead and bass player) - One of my favourite characters I ever played. She's a vocalist and bass player in a heavy metal band. Her short temper led her into trouble lots of times. Add to that the fact that she thought very higly of herself and you'll begin to grasp how fun that chronicle was.

Artemis (Thyrsus mage, model) - This is one of the more intresting characters I ever played. She's a transgender girl and model, strongly inspired on Kayo Satoh. I researched a lot about transgender folks, reading stories and so, and this opened my mind in many, many ways. It's incredible how much we can learn just in a simple game.
I created for her a sad backstory, involving depression and drug addiction (drugs were still an issue in game), but honestly, I don't think she's defined by that. She's a girl who loves fashion and that has a cheerful personality who was always trying to do her best.
